Dream Big and then Dream Bigger

by Lady D on 02/14/16

After examining the life of Joseph in the Bible and realizing a few of my own dreams. I realized a few things from his experience. I understand that we all have dreams we have held inside of us and at some point we have endeavored to share it with someone.

Joseph experienced hard times, only after sharing his dream with others. That is when all of his trouble began. So we should understand that when God gives us a dream those we share it with be it family or friends may not every catch on to what God has shown us. The dream was not given to anyone but you and God given dreams are always faced with opposition. Don't be alarmed we may have to climb a few hurdles to realize the dream, but know that if you keep the faith and stay the course it shall come to pass.

It is for an appointed time, and although Joseph had the dream, saw the vision and knew the outcome he did not know all he would endure at the hands of many even those he trusted. We should never alter our dreams because others don't jump on board. Neither should we give up because of a few obstacles.

In the end the very dream was accomplished for Joseph and so it will be for you if you just keep the faith and hold on. If you have ever gotten on a roller coaster ride at an amusement park. The ride goes through twist and turns, they go up hill and down. The ride starts off slow and gradually gets faster as it continues on. While you may at some point enjoy the ride surely at one time or another you have to be over it and want to get off the ride. No matter how hard you cry and scream you cannot get off until the ride is over.

The same holds true in the ride of life! Stay on this ride and no matter how bumpy it gets in the end it will be worth it. Ride on Love!

Falling Off & Starting Again

by Lady D on 12/07/15

Ok so I have fallen off from writing my blog site  as I intended. The wonderful thing about falling off is you can always start again.

Everything we do is not going to flow in order the way we envisioned it. You can't get discouraged because you missed a beat. Just recreate the music and begin again. Everyday you wake up it's another opportunity to start over. What you failed at the first time you can always try again.

Life is a serious of failures and victories. No matter how many times you fail, you are not a loser you can try again. Have a positive mindset and just start again.

No matter what has happened in the past, you are not denied the opportunity to try again. Especially if you have fallen off track it is important that you try again. We all remember learning to skate, if you were like me you did not learn in a skating rink. I practiced for hours outside on the hard concrete. Every mistake I made caused me to fall. I didn't have the security of a soft landing. There was no grass in sight. All black top concrete and it HURT!!! The scraped and the bruises I walked away with and still I continued to try. I would fall and get back up and the moment I made it one time without falling I gained the confidence to keep trying until I was no longer banging my knees on the ground.

Of course it took me days, weeks and probably even months but I did not give up. All of my friends were skating fast and they were going to the skating rink every week having fun and if I went I stood on the wall watching them skate waving at me from the sidelines.

Aren't you tired of standing on the sidelines of life and ready to make a bold step toward your dreams. No matter where you are in the process at the beginning or the end. Whether you have stopped but still have the desire to start again. Go ahead and take the leap start again and this time stick to you.

I'm juss saying you can have what you desire as long as you continue to press play on your life and live it!

See you at the top,

3 things you should be doing to breakout!

by Lady D on 08/15/15

Breakout is defined as a forcible escape, typically from prison; an outbreak; suddenly and extremely popular or successful.

My goal is to help people realize they are more the capable to breakout even if it is forcibly from where they are to where they want to be.

1. Try something new - Find one thing a month to try that you have never tried before. If it came to your mind then you should try it. We have become like robots that follow the same routine daily. Travel the same route home, get up at the same time everyday. We eat the same foods and sometimes we should mix things up a bit and do the same tasks we do everyday except do it differently then you have become accustomed to.

2. spend quality quiet time alone- If you need to get clear on what you have been doing and what you want to accomplish with your life or the rest of the year then you need clarity. You have to turn off social media, TV, radio and whatever can distract you from getting clear. The only way to get clear is to sit and listen to your own hearts vibration. Figure out what you want out of this life. Not watching what other are doing, or what mommy and daddy wanted for you but what do you want. Get clear and listen to your heart, pray and God your creator what did he create you for? Then just put a pin in your hand and start writing that out. You can really get to the bottom of what you want when you tune everything and everyone out.

3. Let go of the negative nouns - Those people, places and things that are a source of negativity. We all know those people and if we are truthful have been those people that have complained about a whole lot of nothing. Well when your trying to breakout from where you are you have to disconnect from negative sources. Social media can be very frustrating you can witness those people that one moment have a wonderful message of hope and love and the next minute they are talking about someone who has done them wrong, then the move to a prayer and a scripture and back to cussing. I have started unfriending, unfollowing and blocking all those that believe that what they share has no influence on the reader. I have to protect my gates. My gates are my eyes, ears, mouth, and my heart are all gates. They allow people access to my spirit. The wrong information can cause you to become contaminated. I am not in the business of being anyone els's dumping ground because I was not created to be a doormat and neither have you.

If you are trying to breakout from where you are to where you want to be you need to refocus and get alone and be quiet and listen to your heart. Try something new and be spontaneous. Taste a new food or take yourself out on a date. Accept the challenge to step outside your comfort zone and do something that scares you. Finally block out all the negative nouns of life that are dumping and feeding your spirit with things that block your flow. Negativity causes you to be clogged and you won't be able to think clearly,

These are my 3 things but you can develop your own breakout plan. Whatever you do just do it. Breakout!
